The County Administrator’s Office is responsible for administering the County’s property and liability insurance, along with employee benefits. All of which is done in line with the correct standards and procedures, forms, and so on. The County Administrator also supervises and is responsible for the work performed by the Payroll Department, County Complex Manager, the Administrator’s Office, the General Services Office, the Equalization/Land Resources Director and the Building Inspection Department Director.
The Administrator’s Office is also responsible for the preparation of the annual General and Special Fund Budgets, along with the smooth running of Computer Information Systems. It is hoped that this will continue to be the case for quite some time, as improvements continue to be implemented as changes come into play.
The Administrator’s Office works directly with the County Commissioners in conducting County-wide business and assisting the Commissioners in facilitating the effective operation of standing committee meetings, full Board of Commissioner meetings, along with the preparation and monitoring of the County budget and budget detail reports. These reports are important for ensuring that everything is kept organized and appropriately documented.
