The purpose of the CCAB shall be to formulate a comprehensive plan for the development, implementation, and operation of community correctional services in Branch County and to develop a plan for the administration, monitoring, and control of the community correctional services under the comprehensive plan. The CCAB is authorized to formulate the plan and submit such a plan to the Branch County Board of Commissioners.

DUTIES of the CCAB:

• Develop a comprehanisve community corrections plan, including monitoring activities, recommending improvements, performing annual evaluations, and preparing an annual report for submission to the Branch County Board of Commissioners.
• Provide management of the Community Corrections Plan
• Monitor programs and operations for compliance with Office of Community Corrections (OCC) operating standards.

MISSION STATEMENT:

• Branch County Community Corrections mission is to provide alternative programs to incarceration that are local and community-based, and to hold offenders accountable while improving their ability to live lawfully and be productive in the community.
