GIS - Geographic Information Systems

    The Branch County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department provides mapping services to the citizens of Branch County.  The GIS department operates out of the Branch County 911 Central Dispatch Center.  We provide accurate road centerline and emergency service boundaries for use in 911 dispatch.  The GIS department also provides services to the public and other county entities on customized mapping projects.  We currently have a variety of map layers available upon request.  Branch County GIS is always working on developing new maps and map layers for use in future GIS projects.

    Branch County GIS assigns all new addresses for the county.  Please see the right margin for a link to the current addressing guidelines and 9-1-1 address request form.  These documents will provide you with all of the information you will need to apply for a new address.  You will need to complete a 9-1-1 address request form before a new address can be assigned.

    The GIS department also provides high resolution aerial photography for the entire county.  We can plot out and print aerial imagery at a specific scale for whatever part of the county you might need.  Stop in and see what Branch County GIS can do for you!
